SP 11 Questionnaire

1. What is/are your favorite yarn/s to knit with? What fibers do you absolutely *not* like?

I love alpaca and other natural fibers. I don't any "fun fur" or 100% acrylic.

2. What do you use to store your needles/hooks in?

My addi's are in the baggies that they came in. Exciting 'eh?

3. How long have you been knitting & how did you learn? Would you consider your skill level to be beginner, intermediate or advanced?

I've been knitting around 2 years and I taught myself for the most part. I would consider myself intermediate.

4. Do you have an Amazon or other online wish list?

Yes, but I'm not sure how to link it from here.

5. What's your favorite scent?

I love earthy scents like patchouli, cedar, sage etc...

6. Do you have a sweet tooth? Favorite candy?

Not too much, though I am swayed by dark chocolate

7. What other crafts or Do-It-Yourself things do you like to do? Do you spin?

I spin terribly, but have been practicing! I love to craft stuff like beaded jewelry, stamping, fun papers etc...

8. What kind of music do you like? Can your computer/stereo play MP3s? (if your buddy wants to make you a CD)

I love almost anything except Speed Metal and Hard Core Rap. I adore 80's New Wave and the Grateful Dead (what an interesting mix!)

9. What's your favorite color(s)? Any colors you just can't stand?

Love most colors, don't like orange though.

10. What is your family situation? Do you have any pets?

Married with dogs and cats.

11. Do you wear scarves, hats, mittens or ponchos?

Yes.

12. What is/are your favorite item/s to knit?

Socks and lace.

13. What are you knitting right now?

Mystery Stole 3 and some socks

14. Do you like to receive handmade gifts?

Absolutely!

15. Do you prefer straight or circular needles? Bamboo, aluminum, plastic?

Straight or circular depends on the project, same with the material.

16. Do you own a yarn winder and/or swift?

Yes, both.

Gasp! I don't have any currently!

18. What is your favorite holiday?

Halloween.

19. Is there anything that you collect?

Vintage Fiestawarer

20. Any books, yarns, needles or patterns out there you are dying to get your hands on? What knitting magazine subscriptions do you have?

I subscribe to Interweave Knits and any of the Barbara Walker books of stitch patterns are on my wish list.

21. Are there any new techniques you'd like to learn?

Not that I can think of right now.
